2024-25 New & Early Career Special Education Directors

The Oklahoma Directors of Special Services (ODSS) is changing and expanding our first-year directors’ meeting schedule of prior years.  For 2024-25, the meetings will be open to any Oklahoma public school special education director or assistant director, whether they’re new, early career, or experienced.  The purpose of these sessions is to help prepare you to perform the duties typically assigned to a special education director or other special education administrator.  There is no charge to attend. 

Registration is live for ODSS’ in-person “boot camp” for new and early-career special education directors and assistant directors on Tuesday, July 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Yukon High School.  Of course, experienced directors are also welcome to attend.  The event is free, and ODSS will provide breakfast and lunch.

 

ODSS will hold virtual meetings from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on the following dates (July 24 is a Wednesday; all other dates are Tuesdays):
