OASSP High School Principal of the Year
Mr. Jason Hayes, Principal of Santa Fe High School in Edmond Public Schools, is honored to be the 2025 OASSP High School Principal of the Year. For the past 13 years, he has led Santa Fe with heart and purpose, focusing on building a school culture where both students and staff feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through the Safe and Civil Schools initiative, he helped launch the school’s core values— “Protect the PACK,” which stands for Practice Respect, Accept Responsibility, Commit to Excellence, and Keep It Classy—values that students and staff live by every day. Under his leadership, the school has consistently earned top marks on the State Report Card and thrives as a collaborative learning community where teachers work together to meet the needs of every learner. Whether it's creating daily Advisory Time to support struggling students or staying late on Wednesdays for tutoring with honor society volunteers, Mr. Hayes leads by example, always putting students first.
