CCOSA Membership Dues 2024-25

CCOSA Membership is for ADMINISTRATORS serving at ANY level and in any capacity at the state, school district, or site level. Members who serve as administrators are not precluded from joining other CCOSA Associations.

CCOSA Active Memberships
OAESP- Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals:
Active membership in OAESP is open to all persons engaged in elementary or middle-level administration and/or supervision, or to those who have previously served at that level, upon payment of annual dues.

OASSP- Oklahoma Association of Secondary School Principals
Active membership in OASSP is open to all persons engaged in secondary administration and/or supervision, or to those who have previously served at that level, upon payment of annual dues.

OMLEA- Oklahoma Middle Level Educators Association
If you select OAESP or OASSP membership you can also choose to be affiliated with OMLEA at no additional cost.

OASA- Oklahoma Association of School Administrators – Superintendents OASA- Oklahoma Association of School Administrators - Central Office Staff
Active membership in OASA shall consist of personnel from the following educational groups who have paid dues to this association: public school superintendents, and, their respective central office administrative staff, State Department of Education administrative staff, Oklahoma colleges and universities administrative staff, Oklahoma School Boards administrative staff, State Department of Career and Technical Education administrative staff and technology center superintendents and their respective administrative staff, and executive directors of organizations formed to advocate solely for public schools and their respective administrative staff. Administrators, superintendents, members, employees, and similar of not-for profit charter, for-profit charter, virtual charter blended schools, non-local board of education sponsored charter schools, and any other organizations that have a similar purpose as these listed organizations are not eligible for any class of CCOSA membership.

ODSS Oklahoma Directors of Special Services
Active membership in ODSS shall consist of personnel from the following educational groups who have paid dues to ODSS: (a) public school directors and coordinators of special education and other public school administrators, teachers and related services personnel who have supervisory or compliance responsibility for public school special education programs or services; (b) technology center directors, coordinators and administrators of programs or services for students with disabilities; (c) Oklahoma State Department of Education, Special Education Services Section administrative staff; (d) Oklahoma State Department of Career and Technology Education staff who work with local technology center staff responsible for programs or services for students with disabilities; and (e) Oklahoma higher education administrative and instructional staff who prepare special education administrative and teaching personnel. Special education directors, coordinators, administrators, teachers, related service personnel and other employees of not-for-profit charter, for-profit virtual charter, virtual charter blended schools, non-local board of education-sponsored charter schools and any other organizations that have a purpose similar to these listed organizations are not eligible for any type of ODSS membership.

CCOSA Associate/Retiree Memberships
OAESP/OMLEA Associate, OASSP/OMLEA Associate
CCOSA Associate Memberships are for school employees that are NOT administrators and are not active CCOSA members.

ODSS Associate
Associate membership in ODSS shall consist of all other personnel who have not been defined as eligible active members and who have paid dues to ODSS: (a) teachers, related service and support personnel who work in public school special education programs or services, but have neither supervisory nor compliance responsibility for those programs or services and who are eligible for membership in any other education-related association; and (b) local board of education-sponsored charter school and tribal school directors and coordinators of special education and other administrators, teachers and related service personnel who have supervisory or compliance responsibility for local board of education-sponsored charter school and tribal school special education programs or services. Associate membership will allow the member to participate in professional learning opportunities offered by the association at a member rate.

OASA Associate
Associate membership in OASA shall consist of all other personnel who have not been defined as eligible active members and who have paid dues to this association: local board of education sponsored charter school and tribal school superintendents and their respective central office administrative staff, public school support staff serving in an administrative role and who are eligible for membership in any other educational related association. Associate membership will allow the member to participate in professional learning opportunities offered by the association at a member rate. Associate membership will be a non-voting status, not eligible for association awards or to hold an office in the association. Associate membership does not include advocacy efforts on the part of the member.

University Associate
Persons currently ENROLLED with state colleges/universities & not holding an administrator position.

Business Associate
Business membership is open to any business entity willing to partner with CCOSA. Business members shall not be eligible to vote, hold office, or receive individual active member benefits.

OARSA- Oklahoma Association of Retired School Administrators
OARSA Members are not eligible for professional liability insurance or cyber security optional benefit and must have been an active CCOSA member for a minimum of three years prior to retirement. National Memberships- Joining a national association does NOT make you a member of CCOSA.

This category is ONLY for superintendents in school districts with less than 350 students.

This category is open to anyone who has retired from full-time employment as a school
administrator.
