OASSP Regional Handbook for 2016-2017

The OKLAHOMA ASSOCIATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS (OASSP) is a not-for-profit, professional association, organized in 1931 for the purpose of improving secondary education through “...activities such as providing information and leadership, encouraging research and service, (and) promoting high professional standards ...” A secondary school is one which includes any combination of grades 6-12. OASSP is an affiliate of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and a constituent association of the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA).
Membership in OASSP “is open to all persons engaged in practicing or teaching secondary school administration and/or supervision, or to those who have previously served in these capacities upon payment of annual dues.” OASSP members are automatically members of CCOSA.
"Associate (non-voting) membership is open to persons interested in secondary education who are not currently holding administrative positions in secondary schools. Graduate students in school administration are also eligible."
