Administrator of the Year
Congratulations to Heritage ES Princpal Cathey Bugg for being named the OAESP Administrator of the Year and NAESP National Distinguished Princpal.  The OAESP Administrator of the Year Awards promote leadership in elementary education by recognizing individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to their schools through programs that exemplify the highest standards and promote student achievement. Cathey Bugg will also serve as a National Distinguished Principal and be recognized by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) in a prestigious ceremony in Washington D.C. this fall. 

OAESP also named Carla Fry, Principal at E.M. Trout in Ponca City Public Schools, as the OAESP Principal of Excellence.  Molly Wilson, Principal at Centennial Elementary School in Mustang Public Schools, is the James Burnette Principal of Distinction.  

Lead Like Me
The Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals is proud to announce that we will be giong into our third year of its outreach program "Lead Like Me" to support leadership organizations in elementary schools by providing a one-day training for elementary students in grades 4-8 and their advisors.  This dynamic workshop will be lead by retired principals and educators dedicated to the mission of teaching the art of leadership and teamwork.  For more information on Lead Like Me and to become a Host School  CLICK HERE.
