Creating Uplifting Classroom Environments: Providing Support for Early-Career Teachers

There is so much information and research available that early-career teachers can be overwhelmed! Our goal is to give them just enough in an organized model so that they can begin teaching with practical research based tools and activities to be successful. CCOSA and the K20 Center have partnered together for a solution. In an effort to organize the research into a comprehensive format, the K20 Center has developed the "Uplifting Classroom Environment" model. The model incorporates knowledge and environmental challenge.  Each scheduled workshop location contains two days of initial training and a third day of training, at a later date, with the teacher's administrator.

We appreciate you facilitating the Uplifting Classroom training sessions for Bartlesville! All of the attendees gained valuable skills that can immediately be used when our students return. The Uplifting Classrooms curriculum has been a wonderful addition to the before-school training regiment for our new/newer teachers.  We look forward to working with you again and BPS also appreciates the efforts of CCOSA to partner with The K20 Center to make this wonderful training a possibility." - Jason Langham, Executive Director of Special Services & Secondary Schools, Bartlesville Public Schools
