OANHS State Convention 2019

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 5, 2019! This year's state Oklahoma Association of National Honor Society State Convention will be held at the Tulsa Zoo 6421 E 36th St N, Tulsa, OK 74115. 

Register Today!

The cost is $20 per student attending. 


Registration Options:
Online Registration

If you are registering online as the Adviser of your school's NHS chapter:
1. Register as a "Guest"
2. On Step 4: Checkout, click the checkbox that says "Request special billing arrangements (e.g. divided bill between registrants, etc.)" 
3. Add a note in the text box that says "NHS Adviser" along with the number of students planning to attend, and we will update your registration total to reflect the total price.

Students will hear powerful messages and have sessions throughout the day covering student leadership topics.

Keynote Speakers Include:

Michael Hirsch

From Loveworksleadership.org, Michael is passionate about seeing dreams come true in the hearts and lives of youth. Seven years ago he launched Loveworks with the focus to start an afterschool program for middle school students. Under his leadership, Loveworks has impacted the lives of over 10,000 students and is on a mission to give every student an opportunity to lead. Michael has been working with youth for more than 15 years, and is dedicated to inspiring young leaders. Michael is a father of two girls and one boy, loving husband to Selah, and a five-time Ironman triathlete.

Jesse Haynes

Jesse Haynes is a creator from Tulsa, Oklahoma who has published three novels and three podcasts. His fiction debut came in 2014 in the form of an action/adventure novel called Creepers, which released the summer before his senior year at  Skiatook High School. The follow-up, Creepers 2, released in 2016  and was named a Daily Oklahoman Best Seller. Since then, Haynes has also embraced podcasting, and his three shows have won awards such as Podstralia's Best New Podcast, and grossed over 2 million total downloads. A Communications major from the University of Tulsa, Jesse also travels to schools and regularly speaks at conferences for young authors.
