Women in School Leadership Forum
Event Dates & Times
Wednesday, February 28 | 2pm-3:30
Thursday, March 1 | 8am-4pm

How do you define who you are as a woman in school leadership?  Have you really ever given it much thought?  CCOSA's Women in School Leadership Conference will give you the chance to reflect on your own career and define your path for the future.

Don't miss the chance to hear Trish Rubin, co-author of BrandED, as she shares advice on defining your school's brand and your personal brand. You will even get the chance to "write your own story."

Join us a day early for a pre-seminar session on "Negotiating Contracts" with Maree Sneed. Reconnect with friends and network at our welcome reception on Wednesday evening.

Additional highlights:
  • Chickasaw Nation Governor Bill Anoatubby will share his views on women in leadership in the Chickasaw Nation, and the strong women in his life who shaped him as a leader.
  • A panel of women leaders will discuss their first-hand experiences of dealing with crisis and grief in their schools. The panel will also include an experienced grief counselor who will share how women respond in difficult situations.
  • "Creating a Culture of Appreciation," led by Diana Rogers Jaeger, will help you motivate and encourage your team in a difficult public education environment.
